Sanjana Iyer is a Predoctoral Researcher in the Economics department at EIT. In her role, she contributes to the economics team鈥檚 mission of producing fundamental theoretical and empirical research within the economics of longevity, aging, and preventative health.
Sanj graduated from the LSE in 2025 with a BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics. During her time at the LSE, she conducted field research in the Balkans as a Laidlaw Scholar and was a part-time research assistant for Dr Giulia Caprini of Nuffield College, Oxford. 听Outside of research, she also held internship positions in the non-profit industry (Magic Breakfast) and economic consulting (London Economics).
Outside of work, Sanj particularly enjoys dancing and learning new styles. She also loves poetry, short form writing and is a dog enthusiast.
