Paul Lewis is the Head of IT Security at EIT, leading the central security function and managing strategic cyber risks which EIT faces. He has been working within the information security field for over 25 years, and has worked in a range of technical and senior management positions with industry, higher education, and UK government which include Vodafone, Elsevier and Atos. Prior to EIT Paul was the Chief Information Security Officer of Nominet UK.
Paul holds a B.Sc.(Hons) in Business Computing from the University of Hull, M.Sc. in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London and Ph.D. in Cyber Defence from Cranfield University. Paul also retains the honorary position of visiting Professor within the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway.
He spends his spare time trying to get out into the hills and mountains within the UK and globally and mountain biking on weekend with his wife, 2 children and cat.
