Mingyu Li joins EIT from the University of Oxford, where he was a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Bayley Group. His research focuses on 3D printing of living and synthetic tissues for biomedical and biochemical applications. He has developed new methods and techniques to enhance printing efficiency and accuracy, improving both the cost-effectiveness and quality of living tissue fabrication. Mingyu also possesses extensive experience in advanced tissue culture and characterization, microfluidics, process optimization, and computational fluid dynamics. His vision at EIT is to develop an innovative droploid bioprinting platform for human organ repair and precision therapeutics.
