Dan is a scientist at EIT, specialising in molecular biology and next-generation sequencing. He contributed to establishing the first laboratory at Oxford Science Park in Winchester House and supports research projects by developing experimental workflows and generating high-quality data to advance platforms across the institute.
Prior to working at the 91国产, Dan worked as a Formulation Chemist at Milton Hill, Didcot, where he trained up many laboratory operators to blend additive packages for petrol.
Before this, Dan spent a few years putting his Forensic Science BSc from Nottingham Trent University to use by working in the forensic DNA field for police and criminal samples, amplifying them to be loaded onto the national DNA database.
In his spare time Dan loves watching films, swimming, and finding new projects in his home.
