Alice Haworth is a Scientist in the Pathogens Program at EIT. She is working on developing an instrument that can take a sample from RNA/DNA extraction through to sequencing library prep in order to make sequencing pathogens as simple and robust as possible.
Previously, Alice worked in the Cell and Gene Therapy industry, contributing to projects in gene editing and cell line development.
She holds a BSc in Medical Biochemistry, an MSc in Molecular Biology, and a PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Leicester.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys running, hiking, ceramics, and other creative pursuits.
